Dialogic Academic Presses (DAPresses) (a division of Dialogic Solutions Ltd) is seeking experienced staff on permanent, part-time, and contract basis to work with the Dialogic Joint Editorial Board (DJEB) in advancing knowledge creation, curation, and dissemination through scholarly publications.
This initiative is part of Dialogic’s National Impact Projects (NIPs), aligned with UNESCO Open Science Recommendations and the UN SDGs 2030 agenda, aimed at transforming academic publishing globally, particularly by making research publishing more affordable and accessible for developing regions.
Roles Available
- Journal Editorial Managers
- Software Engineer / Full Stack PHP Developer
- Librarian (Scholarly Publishing Experience)
- Copyediting & Academic Communication Specialist
- Managing Editor (STEM / Arts / Humanities Journals)
- Marketing Expert for Scholarly Publications
- Other roles in indexing, archiving, visibility, and publishing quality
Person Specification / Requirements
- Minimum of 2:1 degree and at least 2 years experience
- Resident in any African country
- Reliable internet access
- Proficiency in relevant digital tools
- Ability to conduct independent research using online resources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with leadership ability
- Excellent digital literacy
