This Terms and Conditions applies only to DAPresses as a Special Purpose Vehicle and not any other division of DIalogic Solutions Ltd.
1.2 Users of the website, including authors, editors, reviewers, journal owners, readers and institutional partners, are collectively referred to as “Users”, “Customers”, or “You/Your.”

1.4 Any conflicting terms proposed by Users are invalid unless expressly agreed to in writing by DAPresses.

2. Services Provided by DAPresses
2.1 DAPresses provides:

- Journal hosting and management

- Production and typesetting
- DOI assignment and metadata dissemination
- Long‑term digital preservation
2.2 DAPresses supports journals in maintaining academic quality, ethical publishing, and transparent editorial processes, as described in the Hosting Guidelines.
2.3 DAPresses does not guarantee:
- Indexation in any specific database
- Journal ranking outcomes
- Citation performance
- Acceptance of manuscripts
2.4 DAPresses may expand or modify services at its discretion at any time without pre-information to users.
§3. Registration and User Accounts
3.1 Users must register an account to submit manuscripts, manage journals, or access editorial functions.
3.2 Users must provide accurate information and maintain confidentiality of login credentials.
3.3 DAPresses may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Misconduct
- Ethical violations
- Misuse of the platform
- Non‑compliance with these Terms
4. Manuscript Submission and Editorial Process
4.1 Submission of a manuscript constitutes a request to enter into a publishing contract with DAPresses.
4.2 All manuscripts undergo:

- Peer review (single‑blind, double‑blind, or open, depending on specific journal policy)
- Revision and resubmission cycles
- Final editorial decision
4.3 DAPresses ensures editorial independence. Editors make decisions without influence from authors, institutions, or funders.
4.4 Authors must ensure:
- Originality of the work
- No simultaneous submission to other journals
- Compliance with ethical standards
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest
- Accuracy of data and citations
4.5 DAPresses may reject or withdraw manuscripts that violate ethical or legal standards at any time.
5. Open Access, Licensing, and Copyright
5.1 All publications on DAPresses are Open Access unless otherwise stated.
5.2 Unless otherwise stated, articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing unrestricted use with proper attribution.
5.3 Authors retain copyright.
5.4 Authors must obtain permissions for third‑party materials and indemnify DAPresses and Dialogic Solutions Ltd against copyright claims.
5.5 DAPresses may remove or retract content if:

6. Journal Hosting and Institutional Partnerships
6.1 Organisations hosting journals on DAPresses must comply with the Hosting Guidelines for Organisations, including:
- Editorial board transparency
- Peer‑review integrity
- Ethical publishing standards
- Regular publication schedules
- Clear aims and scope
6.2 DAPresses provides, where possible/applicable/available:
- Platform infrastructure
- Editorial workflow tools
- DOI registration
- Metadata dissemination
- Technical support
6.3 Journal owners are responsible for:
- Editorial decisions
- Reviewer selection
- Ethical oversight
- Compliance with COPE guidelines
6.4 DAPresses may suspend hosting for journals that violate:
- Ethical standards
- Legal requirements
- Platform policies
§7. Fees, Invoices, and Payment Terms
7.1 DAPresses may charge in Naira, Pounds, Dollars or Euros:
- Article Processing Charges (APCs)
- Journal hosting fees
- Optional editorial services (e.g., language editing, formatting)
7.2 All fees will be transparently disclosed before services begin.
7.3 APCs are payable upon acceptance of the manuscript.
7.4 Payments must be made in full, without deductions for taxes or bank charges.
7.5 Refunds:
- Allowed only if a manuscript is withdrawn before acceptance.
- Not provided after publication
- Not provided for retractions
7.6 Non‑payment may result in:
- Suspension of publication
- Delay in article release
- Suspension of future submissions
8. Withdrawal, Retraction, and Corrections
8.1 Authors may withdraw manuscripts during peer review.
8.2 After acceptance, withdrawal is not permitted.
8.3 Retractions follow COPE guidelines and may occur due to:
- Plagiarism
- Data manipulation
- Ethical breaches
- Legal issues
8.4 Corrections, errata, and updates will be issued when necessary.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
9.1 DAPresses collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
9.2 Data collected includes:
- Author and reviewer information
- Institutional affiliations
- Manuscript metadata
- Editorial correspondence
9.3 Email addresses of corresponding authors may be published with the article.
9.4 Users must ensure co‑authors consent to publication of their information before making any submission.
9.5 Authors must not include legally protected data, contents and materials not publishable under open access CC BY in manuscripts.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 DAPresses and Dialogic Solutions Ltd are not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Loss of profits or reputation
- Indexation, citation and archiving outcomes
- Third‑party misuse of published content.
- Risks and uncertainties created by the use of the published contents.
- Copyright infringements committed by authors
10.2 DAPresses and Dialogic Solution Ltd’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Fraud
- Gross negligence
- Deliberate misconduct
11. Force Majeure
DAPresses is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control, including:
