For Authors

Article Processing Charges (APC)

DAPresses provides rigorous and value-adding editorial processes to ensure quality publications whilst making them visible and available to readers across the globe. This work requires significant effort from editorial board members and DAPresses staff, yet our mission remains to make publishing actionable, affordable, achievable, and accessible.

In line with UNESCO Open Science, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) policy, DAPresses prioritises widening access for academics, researchers, scholars, and students, including those in low and medium income countries based on the World Bank GNI classification.

How DAPresses approaches APCs

DAPresses goes the extra mile to support and publish people with original and novel research outputs from countries where governments, institutions, and grant funders do not support researchers with Article Processing Charges. For country grouping context, see the World Bank country and lending groups reference.

Desk Review by the Editor-in-Chief, Sectional Editor Leads, and peer review by experts are free of charge.

Written feedback is provided to the corresponding author to support improvement of the manuscript or the research process.

APCs are requested only when a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

A 50% discount applies to all authors and all currencies until 31st December 2026.
